Human Resource Institute for Talent Development & Retention

If you’re a Human Resources professional, you know that it’s far more cost effective to retain and develop the talent that you already have than it is to use time and money chasing after new talent.

The Career Counseling Center offers a comprehensive certificate program for H.R. professionals, designed to prepare them for a leadership role in the development of multi-faceted, strategic approaches to employee development and retention. You may decide to pursue the certificate program or you may decide to attend individual seminars that interest you – the choice is yours.

Fourteen seminars are offered over the course of one year. Ten seminars (seven required and three electives) are required for certification in talent development and retention.

These seminars combine leading theories of career development with practical methods that can help your organization avoid the high cost of losing talented, experienced employees. All seminars have been approved for continuing education units (CEU’s) by the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI).
